Shuttle Bus (from/to Lisbon Airport)

On October 18th there will be a shuttle bus from Lisbon Airport to Alcanena at 2 pm and 8 pm. On October 22nd the shuttle bus to the airport leaves Alcanena at 8 am. The trip takes approximately 2 hours.

Please indicate in the registration form if you want to use the shuttle bus and select the desired pick up time on October 18th.

Lisbon to Alcanena

Bus (recommended connection): To get from the airport to the bus station in Lisbon you have to take the AeroBus 2 to Sete Rios (AeroBus site). Tickets are available online or in the bus. At Sete Rios you have two options:

1. Take the direct line bus to Alcanena. The bus station in Alcanena is 250 meters away from the venue.

2. Take the direct line bus to Fátima. In Fátima you can take a taxi, an express bus or a regular bus to Alcanena. The bus station in Alcanena is 250 meters away from the venue.

Train: From the airport take the metro, bus or taxi to Oriente train station. The easiest way is to just get on the metro at the Airport and travel three stations to Oriente (diagramm of Lisbon metro). From Oriente you can take the Intercity, Alfa Pendular or regional trains to Entroncamento. It takes about an hour to get there (site of train company). In Entroncamento you need to take a taxi to Alcanena. It costs around 30 Euros.

Oporto to Alcanena

Bus: To get from the airport to the bus station take the metro (Linha E) in direction to Estádio do Dragão; in Trindade change to Linha D in direction to Santo Ovídio until São Bento station. The bus station (Garagem Batalha) is 500 meters away from the metro station. At Garagem Batalha take the direct line bus to Fátima. In Fátima you can take a taxi, an express bus or a regular bus to Alcanena. The bus station in Alcanena is 250 meters away from the venue.

Train: At the entrance of the airport there are taxis that can take you to the train station (“Campanhã”) or you can take the metro. If you take the metro you should exit in Campanhã station and buy the ticket to Entroncamento. It takes about two hours to get there (site of train company). In Entroncamento there will be a transport free of charge for the participants that will bring you to the accomodation. In Entroncamento you need to take a taxi to Alcanena. It costs around 30 Euros.
