UNESCO Memory of the World Register
The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has added to its Memory of the World register 64 collections from The Language Archive (TLA) at the MPI. These materials contain documentation from 102 different languages spoken around the world and Minderico (an endangered language spoken in Minde, Portugal) is one of them. The majority of the collections were created within the DOBES (Documentation of Endangered Languages) programme funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.
