CIDLeS’ summer schools in the media

Coding for Language Communities (CLC 2014) and Community-Driven Language Documentation (CDLD 2014) are awakening media interest in Portugal, which is very important for the public discussion about endangered languages and for the promotion of the scientific work on them.

The Portuguese news agency – LUSA – published yesterday an article about the summer schools that spread to several newspapers: http://www.noticiasaominuto.com/pais/256570/cursos-de-revitalizacao-de-linguas-ameacadas. Today, a representative of the organizing committee of CLC and CDLD, Vera Ferreira, gave an interview to the Portuguese national radio station Antena 1 (minute 8:50).
