II Gala “Novos Talentos, Talentos Novos”

On the 10th of May Ricardo Filipe and João Seguro, two volunteers of CIDLeS, were awarded at the II Gala “Novos Talentos, Talentos Novos” organized by the Municipality of Alcanena.

CIDLeS nominated these two high-school students because of their engagement and work on the projects Poio – Technologies for under-resourced languages, TypeCraft and O Touquim Xaral. We expect this award to be a motivation for other students to work on language technologies for endangered languages.
