Minderico at Musibéria by Edgar Valente

On the 15th of January the Portuguese musician Edgar Valente visited CIDLeS and worked with our team.

In his work Edgar tries to combine Portuguese traditions with contemporary music. For his new project, which in being developed in Artist Residence at Musibéria (Centro Internacional de Músicas e Danças do Mundo Ibérico), Edgar Valente wanted to know more about the work of CIDLeS on the documentation and revitalization of endangered languages and varieties in Portugal and, mainly, get acquainted with Minderico, which will play a role in his new album.

The final outcome of Edgar’s project is really promising. Stay tuned!
