Interactive Map of Minde

The project Interactive Map of Minde submitted by Rita Pedro to the Gesellschaft für Bedrohte Sprachen (DE) was approved. Congratulations Rita!

The project aims at creating a multimedia, trilingual (Minderico, Portuguese and English) map of Minde that will bring Minderico to everyday life in a modern way. The map combines information in the form of photos, text, sound and video of the several (private and public) institutions and public spaces existing in Minde. It will also include information about traditional products and working methods, which portray the socio-cultural history of Minde.

A linguistic guide with Minderico expressions and vocabulary used and/or expected in the several locations, together with corresponding sound and video files, represents one of the innovative components of this project.
