CIDLeS at the TEI conference and members meeting 2013
The Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) conference and members meeting 2013 was held from 30.9. to 5.10. in Rome. CIDLeS researcher Peter Bouda participated with two talks on two of the pre-conference workshops. The talk had the following topics:
- “Querying GrAF data in linguistic analysis“, at the workshop “Perspectives on querying TEI-annotated data“
- “Poio API: a CLARIN-D curation project for language documentation and language typology“, at the workshop “CLARIN, Standards and the Text Encoding Initiative“
In both talks Peter presented the Python library Poio API that CIDLeS develops within a CLARIN-D curation project. He presented several use cases of Poio API based on data from language documentation projects and digitized dictionaries, for example how to count word order in interlinear glossed text from an Excel file.
